A little Idea

Many people believe that formal education is one of the keys to success and have much money is the success. Yes of course, there are many professions we can get if we have a high formal academic education. In many societies, degree is valued highly. And by those degree many people believe will get good job easily and then will have much money. However is it true? And if anyone has a high degree of certain formal education, then got good job and much money, is he or her success already in life?

I think we need to think what success and what is the essence of life. What does it mean a success? Some people say that success is the realization of a dream, goal or idealism. In my opinion I do not think that the definition is wrong. But there are a lot of things more and more about the definition of success.

I think…success in my life not only achievement of my goal in getting good education ad money. I think there are many things which are more than money. It has been shown by a fact that my friend who has a high formal education and much money, but his marriage is broken. They think first that by their good formal education they will have a harmonious family. In fact, frequently they are quarreling and at last they divorce. I just want to have some idea, after seeing this friend that life is not merely about education and money.

Getting better life and making contribution to our society with good health, good relationships, are some that will give more happiness and success I our life. To be successful requires a desire to make a positive difference in some way to our society. Acting with a good attitude, maintaining healthy, enjoy and build a strong relationship with our family will give us more success and meaning of life. Is Formal Education to teach these things?

When we see of the vast or majority people nowadays, people have a formal education. The majority had completed high school and a great number have gone to college.
Apparently what happens in real life of the community, when we heard some news which do not always reflect the success because of academic achievement. For examples; we can see how many people have committed suicide, use drugs, get depressed and others. Many coupled ended by divorce. Why this happen, is this because the education system based on the need of industry? Is this because industry need of a certain job and people also them?
